The day counts displayed by NoTaxNoMad are calculated based solely on the entry and exit dates you provide. The Service does not independently verify travel data, cross-reference passport records, or account for partial days, transit days, or other factors that may be relevant under specific tax rules. Different jurisdictions count days differently (e.g., whether the day of arrival or departure counts). You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data you enter and for verifying day counts against your own records.

5. Tax Residency, Immigration & Visa Complexity

Tax residency, immigration status, and visa eligibility are complex legal matters that depend on far more than the number of days spent in a country. Factors including but not limited to your domicile, the location of your permanent home, your family ties, your business interests, your intentions, applicable double taxation agreements, bilateral immigration treaties, and the specific rules of each jurisdiction all play a role. They do not constitute a legal determination of your residency status and may be incomplete or inapplicable to your situation.
